Chile: Ditlef Reefer loads 2,500 pallets of fruit for the U.S.

Reefer vessel Ditlev Reefer, operated by Cool Carrier, has been loading around 2,500 pallets of Chilean fruit at the Port of Valparaiso on what would be its second voyage from Chile to the U.S. for the 2023-2024 fruit season for the East Coast market. Once it departs from the T.P.S. Terminal in Valparaiso on January 27, the vessel will call at the Port of Caldera in the Atacama Region to complete the loading bound for Gloucester in New Jersey.

The boarding procedure will run from Sunday, January 28, to Wednesday, January 31. The ship is expected to arrive in the American port on February 12.

Thus, under the aegis of the direct services offered by Cool Carriers to the U.S. market, the reefer motor vessel is expected to arrive at the Gloucester City Terminal, related to Holt Logistics, on Tuesday, February 12, in line with what has been reported in the shipping company's schedule. The Detlef Reefer's first voyage to the U.S. East Coast Port was in December 2023.
